One Click: We Can Save the World
“We must be the change we wish to see in the world.” – Mahatma Gandhi.

Everyday we have control over every choice we make. Do you opt to fill your mind with current news affairs, the latest fashion trends, and other such media driven updates? Or do you prefer historical, fictional, or interpersonal avenues to spend the majority of your time focused on?
Successful motivating key figures all seem to agree that everything is important, from who your surround yourself with to what you read, to your favorite music picks, to how you exercise and satiate your daily appetite. These choices all directly and indirectly affect your moment to moment sense of well-being as well as your overall quality of life. Every single choice can help to promote your longevity, enhance your mental clarity and peace of mind so that you are able to not only enjoy life to the fullest extent, but also work at your top capacity toward creating every artistic, entrepreneurial, etc. reflection your heart desires and is capable of producing.
Thus, utilizing and finding every means possible that will lift your spirit higher and freer will not only greatly benefit your life, but it will inadvertently do so for others; your work, your words, your presence makes a difference to other people’s lives. People are keenly observant. From childhood we learn how to behave, speak, etc. through watching and imitating behavior around us. We are social beings. Studies have shown that untouched babies have been known to die. Plants that are nurtured and spoken to, flourish. These are not miracle coincidences. Thus, if we want a particular change to take place in the world:
“We must be the change we wish to see in the world.” Mahatma Gandhi.
It is as simple, and complex as that.
Everyday, I do my very best to find new ways to lift my spirit higher, I do this both for myself and for the benefit of others. I truly believe that there is no way to separate bettering your life from bettering the lives of others. As you treat yourself with greater care, so too do you do so to others. We can only treat others as well as we treat ourselves. It is a circle. It is a wonder. This is the intrinsic beauty of life.
To live as I write: one such endeavor that I have been trying my best to remember to include in my list of daily things to do is participate in the miracle of One Click nonprofit organizations. These are wonderful, amazing, free charitable options that provide donations organizations ranging from feeding the hungry to giving to help improve literacy for children. Just as the name suggests, all it takes is “one click” and these organizations will donate monies to a broad array of nonprofit charities. They are a godsend; they are simple and cost free.

There are no more excuses for me. I can contribute everyday. I can make a difference everyday. It’s as easy as one click and I am improving my life and countless lives. If with one click we can do such an extraordinary feat, just imagine what we can all do beyond that.
The only limits are those we place on ourselves. Take care of one another today, tomorrow and everyday. Life is precious, a gift and every moment is precious. Best wishes, to all.
