Possibilities are Endless
When you believe.

“When I believe in myself the possibilities are endless.”
This is a quote that I have taped up to my computer screen.
Recently, I have been going through more difficult times than I can even begin to describe. Everything from losing a large sum of money, to getting a flat tire, to reuniting with a family after 8 years – the list goes on. My life has been a seemingly never ending roller coaster ride lately.
But, no matter how difficult things have become at moments, somehow the “survivor” in me has always been able to live through the “rain” and come out better than before.
Because I was in dire straits for money, I started searching for jobs. Today, I went for a job interview for a position, based off the description I was not even sure I wanted. After the interview, however, I was certain it was something I wanted. My interviewer told me that he would call candidates back tomorrow. My interview was at 12 noon.
Then at 5:15pm today I received a phone call from him! He offered me the job and wanted me to start Monday! I was worried that I would not be able to pay rent. I wasn’t sure when I’d get a job next and I was just offered a job that I can potentially make more than I have made at any job thus far in my life. It has a flexible schedule and I will only have to work 30 hours a week!
All I can do is thank the big fellah upstairs.
And, I must always keep reminding myself and keep believing that all things happen for a reason!

I have heard that when one door closes, another one opens.
Great reflection.

Icy is right. Liane that is great news. How is the job going? I have thought about changing jobs because of the stress and low pay but hunting is stressful too. I know you will do well. Like you said you are a survivor. God bless.
