Price of Life
How many live and perceive life, death and the value of humanity.
Would it be feasible to say that Life is priceless?
Can that only be said about human life or should all life as we know it be considered.
In other words, we can’t place a value on Life. Some individuals consider their life to be more valuable than others.
Life seems to be given a value based on importance, status, greed and fear. How could anyone value the life of someone else over their own and how could someone value their life more than another. Why is there a difference when it comes down to the Price of Life? What if to say, life is just worthless? Of course most people would say that’s a terrible viewpoint.
You may here people say, My life is worth nothing, or I hate my life, I hate myself, why me, will it ever get better?
There are many reasons why people feel this way or say these things. Sometimes life doesn’t live up to their expectations.
Sometimes bad things happen, relationships end, the death of a loved one or they may hide dark secrets inside that they can’t get over, resolve, or reveal. Other people feel that nobody loves them or life isn’t fair and unfortunately some do commit suicide. This is not and never will be the answer.
What about War? Is it preservation of life or destruction of life? Many people in the armed forces have given their lives to preserve the lives of others and at the same time destroyed lives. Hmmm! It seems to be a matter of life and death.
I feel sorry for the soldiers that have to deal with killing. I don’t feel sorry for terrorists or anyone that kills in the name of their God. If someone kills just to kill, then it should be an “Eye for an Eye”.
What is just cause? Just cause we are right and they are wrong.
If God giveth life and God taketh it away and we are only one nation under God and thou shalt not kill, something doesn’t seem kosher.
How can we take a life, when we are here to make life?
Can we really enjoy life if we have the death of another on our conscience? It wouldn’t be easy.
I think Life does have a price, because we put one on it. What is your life worth?
Most of us do believe that all life is precious. Every living thing should have the right to life, the right to live. No matter what species, color, race, or religion they happen to be, or what stage of life they are in because life begins before birth.
Life is worth living, but if you are not loving the life you are living, the people around you may think that it is because of them that you are not happy. Sometimes in life our path is chosen for us by fate or by the consequences of our actions.
At times we wonder why life has taken us on this course and we may feel that something is missing in our life.
This doesn’t mean that we don’t care for and love the people in our life, unless you are one that doesn’t care for the people in your life, then why hang around?
It takes some people a lifetime to find what they are searching for, only to realize it’s too late in life to take a new road.
It would be great if everyone knew exactly what they wanted from life, but they don’t, they just go where the road takes them.
How we handle our decisions in life determines our destiny.
Nobody makes the right decisions all of the time, but we wonder if the decisions we make will be the right ones.
We must weight the value of our life by how much we value the lives around us. The Price of Life is not how much we take, but how much we put into it that makes it Priceless.
