Purity Rings

Your body is your shrine, according to many young people who do not want to have sex before the time is right. They wear what is called a purity ring which signifies they prefer to remain virgins until the right moment,.This means waiting until  the right guy or girl who they want to spend their lives with.It does not mean that they don’t go out and socialize.

 It is difficult to say how big that minority is and I say minority because current thought has it that most people in North America lose their virginity before the wedding day. It all depends on ones attitude, family traditions that are inherited and the values one wants to keep.

 On a recent talk show, several artists were quoted as saying that they prefer to keep their virginity because it means that they can take their time choosing who they would give their love to and by that I mean losing their virginity in the process. In the meantime they were satisfied by just dating, socializing or making some commitments. This does not exclude the fact that they were uncommitted because they could not have deepened their intimacies through love making.

It is doubtful if all those artists cited were in fact still virgins because of their suggestive look and public behavior however some were known to have said that they would wait for the right moment until they lose their virginity.In the meantime purity rings are trendy these days for certain people.
