Resolving Petty Jealousy for the Common Folk

Jealousy. Some would argue it the root of all evil. Most people resolve it with harsh words or a slap to the face. Here are some tips, so you don’t have to be like “Most people.”

1. Walk away. Or if it’s an online forum, leave. This would solve most problems, if anyone cared to use it. Most of the time, arguments are resolved by this. Some people say you’ll look like a coward if you do. I have a saying. POWER TO THE COWARD!!! If you haven’t noticed by now, the coward never dies. Not in horror movies or real life. You might look like a coward, but at least you won’t start a long drawn out fight.

2. Agree to disagree. Or at least do it in your head. If the person seems, unstable, don’t. Just do it in your head. If you’re on a forum, it’s safe to always agree to disagree. You’re safe from the effects of their wrath! They can’t hurt you through your screen.

3.  Test the theories. The most successful of my theories, use this only when this will not cause personal injury. Such as who can survive the most gunshot wounds. That would not be good. For example, test who can write the fastest, by getting a stopwatch and timing yourselves.

4.Think logically. If I were in this persons position, what would I say? Don’t tell the other person about this one if something occurs to you. That wouldn’t be nice, would it? It would only lead to more arguments and since the whole point of reading this is to solve them, that would be working agaisnt yourself.

5. Just agree with the other person. Don’t get too stressed out over little things, like taking out the trash. Save it for big things, like hjacking a car or something like that. Of course, you won’t really have to agree or disagree with someone if they hjack a car; they’ll be way too busy trying not to go to jail.

Most importantly, never loose your calm. Good luck and try to have fun despite those annoying people who’ll try to get you down!
