Righteousness

A short message to bring about acceptance and closure.

Is it just me or does it seem that those having a strong sense or connection to a higher power tend to struggle with the decisions that would affect others, while those absent of connection tend to claim the right to affect others by their own authority? Simply stated, those in tune with their Creator wish absolutely no harm and those absent of their Creator assume the “God-position” freely, has been my observation.

My mother is the most ideal perpetuator of this observation.

Thank you mother for being a great coyote teacher. Thank you for showing me that throwing shame and demanding respect are still contradictory, for I have come to experience that forgiveness is a result of divine guidance. Thank you for judging me, for I have learned it really sets one apart. Thank you for discontinuing any kind of faith in me for now I am truly free to learn to have faith in myself as Creator has intended. Thank you for demonstrating with great effort that tough love is still dysfunctional, for I have found that compassion is what heals. Thank you for helping me to fully understand that righteousness does not beget love, for I have learned that love begets love. Thank you for your shining examples of faith without action and action lacking faith, for I can see that faith is the strongest thread and merits the respect of being put into action. Thank you for showing me that mental static is deafening for it moved me into alignment with my quiet soul. Thank you for extending such fine examples on to my son-shine, for he will learn as well as I. In honor of your teachings I have come to live in accordance with the knowledge that superiority is a lie born of inadequacies…be they real or percieved. I shall consider myself superior to no one, including you. I should rather live knowing that I have been you and understand first hand how tricky it can be to come out of one’s head…how straining it can be to listen for the whisper of the heart song against the deafening static of the inadequecies…I should rather pray for you to be led by the Spirit out of your head and delivered gently into your own heart…for it is only there that you will find the true essence of me now. Your aging mind is too loud with static to recognize me.
