Spreading the Wealth

Sharing is something that not everyone wants to do.

President Obama ruffled the feathers of republicans when he made a statement, that he would work toward “Spreading the wealth.” His opponent John McCain didn’t waste any time attacking Obama for even considering such an idea. Everyone at times in their lives, think about how it would be to live in a world of “Utopia,” where everyone would be happy, and life would be perfect. It hasn’t happened since Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Satan had opened the door of evil, by way of deception. The world has been in a state of chaos and confusion ever since.

Greed and power rose in those who weakened to temptation. They were able to manipulate and over power the masses with lies and deceptions, and the lust for power and wealth. Classes of people developed. The super rich and powerful, the wealthy, middle class, working poor, and the very poor along with the slaves of men. The more wealth a person acquired, legally or illegally, the more power they accumulated.

the more they got, the more they wanted. Greed became a way of life for the rich and powerful. The love of money indeed became the root of all evil.

Nothing has changed in that respect. Money in itself is not evil.It is only when it rules those who lust for it and hoard it, so they can lord it over the less fortunate, that it becomes evil. When money becomes a blessing that is used to impoverish the lowly classes, it becomes evil. McCain took Obama’s statement and tried to make it appear as if Obama wanted to share the wealth of the middle class with the poor. The rich would not even be affected. They live off their interest. The middle class who provide the most taxes for the well being of society, resent the poor for not being able to pull their weight financially. They also look up to the rich to reach down to them, in the hopes that they also will be lifted to a level of higher wealth themselves.

To the middle class, spreading the wealth would mean that the poor would rise up to a level of security, on the backs of the working middle class, and middle class would fall back instead of pushing ahead. It has always been that way. Fear of having to make due with less, so the poor can get ahead enrages the middle class.

they would rather pay outrageous amounts for more prisons to be built to warehouse the poor. Out of sight is

out of mind to them.

The rich and powerful depend on the middle class to survive. McCain will never have to worry about going without a meal with his multi-millions. But he must manipulate the idea to the middle class, that they would be at risk of losing everything if they were required to “share the wealth”. FEAR is a forceful weapon that the powers in control use to control the middle class with panic leading them to do whatever the leaders suggest.

God had given Adam and Eve a life of utopia in the Garden of Eden. A life that he had hoped for all of us.Satan was able to convince Eve that if she ate the fruit from the “forbidden tree of knowledge,” she would become as knowing of all things as God was. The temptation overcame her, and she bit into the fruit. The fruit was likened to money, because it lead to the root of all evil. The fruit in itself was not evil but the desire for Eve to obtain all knowledge by eating it, is what caused the evil. When all the weight is put on one end of the cart, it will tip over and get nowhere.
