Summer Break
by Students never truly realize just how fast the summer break goes. Toward the end they work feverishly, because they did not take a little time here and there to get it done.
It has finally arrived, the time when the sun is shining, school is out; and there really isn’t anything better than that, ”Summer Break”. There may be a few reports to do, and some required reading, but that will get done, eventually’ but first its time to celebrate…. It is summer break, and no school. You can lay aside the worries, and go on to enjoy the day.
Off to the beach is it the ocean or the sea, where the sand is hot, and the sun is shining. What more can a person like me ask for? Looking around at the sky and the sea, how very perfect our earth can be, its beautiful and lovely, oh what a gorgeous day. There are people all around, from all walks of life, from different countries, different cultures and yet today we all are here, on the beach, enjoying the beauty of nature.

Perhaps this summer day you are heading to the woods, to listen to the sound of trees, and birds. As you hike on up, the sunshine’s through the trees, making everything look so comforting. Its cooler here, the trees protect us from the sun making the sun seem less harsh. Here too, is another gorgeous day.
Days like this will come and go, with the memories that will live on within our soul. We have the time to run and play; well at least that is what I said in June. Now you are counting down the days until school, oh don’t worry mom I have plenty of time. Two day left, two books to read; oh why oh why did I wait so long.
With summer break coming to an end I sit beneath the big oak tree, reading my books feverishly, only one more day to go. While I am reading, I realize I am still enjoying the summer days. I could have read more, if I had known just how much fun I could have had, sitting under my big oak tree.
