Australia, New Zealand, USA, Great Britain and Canada are very nice countries to live in and to work. Immigration is not difficult if you have a professional qualification, are healthy and do not have a criminal conviction.
I have lived and worked in all these countries.
India - a lot of freedom to smoke marijuana, (grows wild) and one can smoke it for free. Be prepared to see a lot of poor people and children doing labouring jobs. Lots of freedom. Medical treatments: Private but cheap. Almost all medications one tenth or less than USA costs.
Malaysia & Singapore: Almost like police states. Do not make the mistake of doing anything illegal. Even cycling without a head light and a red tail linght is punishable with an immediate fine. Cycling side by side also used to be an offence (I have not been there for more than ten years, so my information is not current)
