Ten Tips of Cheer Therapy

Cheerfulness is a therapy. It can cure us as well as others around us. It can prevent us from diseases. It can be built up by practicing a few exercises.

“Rejoice always,” (1 Thessalonians 5:15) is advice of St. Paul for a happy and fruitful life. Jesus asks us what is the use of unnecessary worrying. “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink or about your body, what you will wear.” (Matt 6:25) Worry is a contagious disease worse than any other disease and it can kill us easily. Research studies show that persons with worries and higher stress levels create a very stressful atmosphere for people around them. Cheerfulness can bring success in your life making others also cheerful. Cheerfulness is an unfailing therapy. 

Laugh at Worries

Laughter is an expression of cheerfulness. ‘Laugh and grow fat’ is a saying that emphasizes that a cheerful mind can build up a healthy body. Hindu sages say that cheerful laughter can fill your lungs with energetic ‘Prana’, the vital force of life. Laughter is the internal jogging that increases the vital force prana and improves blood circulation by which many diseases can be avoided. 

Why Cheerfulness is Vital?

Cheerfulness can build up the natural healing mechanisms available in our body. Inside our brain there is an emotional brain, built differently from the neo-cortex, the center f language and thought. The emotional brain controls also the physical wellbeing of the body systems. Emotional disorders caused y worries and anxieties result in dysfunctions of the emotional brain leading to diseases. Hence it is necessary to build up cheerfulness in every possibility to maintain our system healthily. 

Ten Tips of Cheerfulness

We can build up cheerfulness by following the tips given below which can easily be acquired by stead practice. 

1) Cheerful wake up

Get up early in the morning with a smile on your face looking at the beautiful world waiting for your rising. Just say a “Good morning, Lord ” to the Omnipotent God, Who granted this day for you. Each and every second of this day is going to be a miracle. 

2) Wear a smile on your face

Always wear a smile on your face which is the expression of your cheerfulness. Mahatma Gandhi used to say, “You are not dressed completely if you do not wear a smile.” Smile is the window of your soul. A warm smile can link us to persons easily and keep us in a state of harmony.
