The Baggage That I Carry

The heaviest burden that anyone can carry is unforgiveness and low-self esteem it is the key to self destruction, but there is an answer.

There are times in our lives when that infamous question arises “why me?”  And usually it come at a low or troublesome time, it can also be a dangerous question giving to certain circumstances. This question is actually asked when we’re at our wits end and can’t get the resolution that we’re looking for. If you have present turmoil in your life or if you have continuous turmoil in your life, no doubt you have asked the question “why me?“ .  As we struggle to live a normal life it sometimes appears that life itself is a struggle, I’m reminded of an old song that says “NOBODY KNOWS THE TROUBLE I SEE…” how true it is even today.  In this message we are going to attempt to change that statement and make a bold proclamation “NO PROBLEM” meaning “I handle my issues they don’t handle me.”

The first question that is asked here is, are you ready for a change?

The second question what are you willing to do to help bring about the much needed change?

The third question is why do you feel a change is necessary?

These are three pertinent questions that must be addressed and these questions are neutral because they provoke results in any situation.

The first step to changing your negative situation is to recognize that it exists.

The second step is to address it, (where did it come from? Friend, family or foe).

The third step is resolution, (dealing with, and facing up to the problem or accepting responsibility for our actions).

One of the most important keys to conflict resolution is HONESTY; the most dangerous key to conflict resolution is DENIAL. These two cannot stay in the same house and depending how a person wants to spend the rest of their lives will determine which will inhabit the space. NOTE* God made man in His image and likeness, and He gave man freewill to make his own choices, then God told man the end results, if he chose to obey the laws that God had established man could live in peace with limited heartaches, but if he refused to obey Gods laws then man would live a life of turmoil and reoccurring problems all his days and not only that but no matter which negative (sinful) choice man made his children would inherit the fruit of that choice, so either the blessings or the curse would be passed on to the next generation.
