The Extraordinary Liberating Power Found in "Being Ordinary"

Being "ordinary" sets us free! No longer held captive to any sense of obligation, duty, concern, consideration, and/or responsibility cast upon us by extenuating factors, situations, circumstances. We are ruthlessly honest to do as we "see fit" in every occurrence free of guilt, remorse and greed. Not to possess the need or desire to impress or be impressed, we are enthusiastic inspiring dangerous liberated souls.

Though everyone tries to avoid being ordinary there’s something really spectacular about it. Not to be put on display, not to need to prove anything, not to be thought of as being ‘somebody’ special.  A magnanimous power is attached to ordinariness. “Just to be natural, without pretense or defense; what a relief” We are all naturally born with supernatural talents, abilities and potential. No one enters this sphere of dimension without these particular gifts. Some are acknowledged; many are not. But, that concealed part of ourselves lies in waiting until at such time we are able to properly appreciate and INTERGRATE its force in our lives. Nothing occurs before it is time and slotted circumstance. When one embraces the privilege of not having to impress or be impressed, to laugh genuinely instead of for the mere sake of ‘fitting in’, to speak his honest unadulterated mind with no fear  or concern of recourse or retribution; then and only then, is man really considered free to exercise the unique gifts he possess. It matters not whether one is conscious of the enormous ‘storehouse of treasure’ locked within, until he moves beyond the idea that he has been short changed in any way whatsoever; the potential of greatness remains sealed away. To be great is to be ordinary.

Being truly ordinary makes one dangerous. Who can control, dominate, manipulate or influence a person who does not care either way? A man who lives simply by and from his instantaneous responses based upon gut instincts and nothing else ascends to heights yet untold. One who cares not what others say or think of him or his actions, or what will or will not be done  to him, for him or with him shows forth such an authentic character that little can stop or inhibit his ‘kismet’ layered path.  One authentic man to be found among billions changes the course of destiny for himself/herself and others. What an honor it is to see this authenticity in action.   He will not be bribed nor coerced into doing something he does not want to do.  He can not be made to feel guilty over anything. You would only knock yourself out trying to cause him/her to feel remorse or regret but nothing will be altered in him. You will only exhaust yourself issuing all sorts of personal fireworks toward him for they will be of no value or interest.

I did enjoy reading this article. I feel I am getting more and more ordinary as I get older. Certainly retirement has made a great differnce to me. This is a very interesting and well written article.

I had never thought of it that way but you are absolutely right. Who cares what we wear or what we say, nobody. We are free to paint our own picture using any colors we choose.

I would love to live life as I want, without a care in the world, don’t have to worry about anything or about what ppl think of me.
But i think moderation is important too.

In the days of our lives, we really are nothing but ordinary no matter how many efforts we put forth trying to be anything else. All of you realize this and appreciate the simplicity of genuine truth and beauty found therein. I do appreciate your comments because I am just like you. I love the simple, pure and true. It’s so much fun just being me. Just like it’s funny bone tickling happy to be nobody but you!
