That is what my mother use to tell us, when we would give her big and expensive gifts. Then I started giving her small meaningful things, or I would rub her shoulders or brush her hair. “That’s what I am talking about.” She would say. She seemed to enjoy all the little things I did for her. Thank you for reminding me.

I agree little things are the things that matter because those little things is what makes the whole, those are the details that mean much more .
