The Need for a Planetary Citizenry

In today’s world, with all its divisiveness, we as humans need to find another way of thinking; another way of solving our global problems. The term ‘global’ does not apply to the concept of a ‘planetary citizenry’.  – The term ‘global’ is a marketing term applied to the economic elite, the global marketeers, that run and control every aspect of this planet, much to the exclusion of the rest of the 99.9% of us with their modus operandi being to keep us fighting against each other – to keep us divided.

What I propose that we do as a human specie is to begin to shift our consciousness from a global economic mindset based on false notions, to a more cosmic planetary mindset based on the fact that we are all citizens of the planet earth.

To be a planetary citizen means that we must eradicate the notions of race, class, gender, nationality and religious affiliation. This term ‘planetary citizen’ would be based on a true and real universal cosmic reference to our place in the universe – in the greater scheme of things. If we were to be visited by an extra-terrestial civilization from outer space – from another more advanced star system and much older the us – they being more advanced then us  ‘will’  beyond a shadow of a doubt – in all probability – be  more planetary in mindset, meaning that;  race, class, gender, etc, etc, will not be a factor on their planet.  An advanced civilization can not make huge milestones in their evolutionary development unless they think more on a planetary level.  Case in point; just look at planet earth. I mean we have tried every form of government possible; theocracy, democracy, oligarchy, dictatorships, totalitarianism, communism, liberalism, fascism and on and on and on, and we ’still’ do not have the answer to our existence, nor our unified human purpose with a vision as to why we are hear? Why we were created? What is our role in the universe?

If planet earth were attacked today, by extra-terrestials from outer space, we would unify globally with one aim, one objective, one destiny in a heartbeat. We would have to because our very survival would depend on it. So I propose that we need to act consciously speaking in the same way. Humanity no doubt is at a crossroads now. Living in a world plagued by corruption, greed, war, and just a fundamental disrepect for life as we know, needs a new way; a new shift in consciousness.
