The Power of Force

What makes people do this or that. What is the real reason why some people engage themselves in bad behavior when they could do better? Answer: They are forced to.

Motivation is really something we can never have. We cannot motivate ourselves to do this or that. We can only do that up to a certain point where the reward is bigger a lot bigger than the pain necessary to get the candy. We know that some people engage in drugs because it’s easy to get them and the reward is huge. However very few people engage in serious sports because the pain is always bigger than the candy.

Another example is how it is possible that the worst browser in the world, internet explorer, is the most used used browser in the world?’ Because people must use it. The browser already comes with the computer, so they must use it. They can change for Firefox but they always feel more secure with Internet Explorer.

This is how the human mind works: With illusions. Life is just an illusion. Ask any real scientist. You are not reading this article, all you are seeing is numbers decoded into letters invented by humans in a screen that is nothing but lights and spots, yet you think you are reading something very real. Do you really believe what I am writing right now? What guarantees you I am not drunk or that I do not have a gun to my head making me writing this?

The illusions made by our brains is the real motivation of all behaviors and that illusion is really real. You cannot see anything unless that thing emits or reflects light. This is a very basic concept yet people only believe what they can see.

You should now start to think more with the numbers and with the logic and less with your brain which actually is a very stupid thing.

Did you know that right now at this very moment there are a lot of sounds and music you cannot listen to? These audios are either too low in volume or your hears cannot hear the frequency, just like your radio cannot catch certain frequencies but they are still there.

I liked this piece, very interesting and close to some of the topics I like to discuss and talk about… but I am a highly motivated person, and I do not need the reward to be more than the pain, I’d go through the pain just to experience what it would be like…

    but very interesting ideas..
