Top Priority
To choose which to put first would certainly determine an output for the better or for worse.
People are bounded with desires that drive them to work and attain each primary goal to the fullest. Every second is significant that should not be wasted. Otherwise, it would cause a delay on any goal to get completed. Thus, priorities are set for each day serving as guides.
Money and time had always been the reasons for individuals to get hooked on their daily work agenda – a force that bounds, and pushes them most often beyond their limits. Had it not because of those desires, then there would be other angles of perspectives that man would tune in to satisfy his priorities.
On another life area, the topic on spiritual matter is oftentimes segregated for some reasons. It is only discussed and given attention on days where it “fits” like on Sundays, and other occasions such as Christmas and Easter. Seldom do people talk about God during their work break or for just a few minutes in a day.
Everyone has a reason but would it not be better if in our daily routine, God is put first in our priority list? Anyhow, the control of everything is still His.
Putting God first starts from our desire and dedication to do it – from the time we wake up and the time we retire to bed. That is, seeking His directions before starting anything, and thanking Him before we close our eyes at night.
Most often, God is put first when we need something and/or when we do not know how to solve certain problems. It is only there and then that He is sought. The bottom-line is that, the choice is ours. Whatever we put first in our priority list tells us on what we will be reaping at the end.
Life is filled with myriads of uncertainties which can only be perfectly solved by God. And if we are to choose whom to ask first regarding directions, should we not ask the one who knows every detail or should we trust passers by? It’s our choice to make!
