Vision Statement

This tool is used to access who you are, what transitions you will be making, and who you will become in five years; a work in progress. Use assessments as a key component to include internal assessments of strengths and weakness, external assessments of opportunities and threats to where you want to be.

Like a rose, I represent a cultivated work in progress. In each stages of development I am able to branch out into different categories which include my personal, spiritual and physical essence. My core development is solely based on my motivation to grow as the well fertilized soil is the foundation to a rose.

Storms in life cause transition. I have decided to use these storms to challenge me in my quest for higher learning which leads to a greater appreciation of life and commitment to excellence. Now I am embarking on my quest for knowledge and a deeper relation for myself. The course that I have chartered for myself in the next five years will allow me to become a key player in the business arena. I see myself as a gardener tending to the roses when I invest my time into a mentorship program.

Assessments

Strength/Weakness (Internal)

The stem represents the strength of the rose. I have the uncanny ability to listen and execute any assignment without hesitation. Being meticulous allows me to produce quality work and it helps me to stay focus on my goals in life. One of my greatest attributes is the ability to be a team player.

Pesticides contribute to the weakness of the rose. My pesticides in life are having an inferiority complex.

Opportunities/ Threats (External)

Just as the sun affords the rose the opportunities to bloom, the doors of opportunity have allowed me to reach unimaginable levels of success. I have a business oriented family that has afforded me the opportunity to access arena that I would normally be able to infiltrate. Having an open-mind has allowed me to increase my employment prospective.

Darkness poses a threat to the rose existence like jealousy poses a threat to my development. The parallel relationship between the rose (Rosa Canina) and I continuously pose issue of trepidation.
