Visualize Your Perfect New Year
Enhance, improve and change your life.
It’s a wonderful New Year!
2008 and once again I am certain people are beginning to reassess their lives, goals, hopes and dreams for a better tomorrow and future. It’s the perfect time to remind yourself that you can and will achieve all your dreams!
While dreams begin with thoughts and desires, they often stay there if we do not give them a boost and support to see them to fruition. The world truly is “your oyster” and you can make of it what you will. There are countless opportunities, people, doors, and choices you have the freedom to partake in that will help shape your life.
The good news is: you can always start over!

If you make a mistake, if you choose a door that doesn’t open up to the room of your dreams, you can close it and open another; your chance to start over again or change the areas in your life that you want to improve are limitless. Never let anyone tell you differently. You have the power to make your life whatever you want it to be.
Utilize whatever resources you can find in your life to help get you to where you have always wanted to be. And “be” can, for example, stand for a state of mind, a literal location, and a place in the “success” ladder.
I have always loved reading and am avidly and loyally becoming a faithful reader of books that discuss motivation, self-development and success. Currently, I am reading a book titled The Joy of Visualization: 75 Creative Ways to Enhance Your Life by Valerie Wells. It is a wonderful book that discusses how visualization can and will not only improve your life, it will help you reach and obtain all your dreams and goals.
I have always been a big believer of the power of the mind and Mind Over Matter. If you are an athlete or a business person, you are probably no stranger to visualization and its benefits. Oftentimes, such people have been encouraged to imagine scoring a goal or conducting a presentation to an audience with confidence and finesse before attempting to do the real thing beforehand. And, studies have continuously shown that such efforts have made oceans of difference between the quality of performance between those who have and those who have not.
Wells’ has created a wonderful array of visualization scenarios that help paint a happier, healthier, and more successful path for all those who take the time to visualize her powerful activities.

It truly is a wonderful New Year. You can and will make all your dreams a reality. Your thoughts beget your actions, your actions your life, and your life your destiny. Envision only the very best, most beautiful, joyous thoughts and your life will follow suit!
Best wishes and blessings to all!
(A note to my regular reader/writer friends: my computer is still experiencing off and on problems. I am doing some “detective” work to figure it out and will keep up with reading, etc. when my computer is working. My sincere gratitude to all.)
