What Do You Do When You’ve Had It!
A quick glance at the “melting point” and how to tackle it.
Everyone these days battle it out with stress and can’t seem to put a lid on ‘temper’, which is normally the outcome of being ‘over-worked’. It’s past blaming others for those constant migraines or the fact that casual smoking is now your source of life at the office.
You can’t take a break ! With the growing trend of ‘losing jobs’, you can’t afford to get a ‘pink slip’. Who’s going to pay the debts, the mortgage loan, your children’s education and don’t even get me started on those medical bills!
Luckily for you, there have always been ways you can stay cool amidst the havoc. Just that people have forgotten it over the days. It’s the same principle you followed in your ‘early’ years.

Don’t let it get to you!!
Do you remember the time when – There’s a dead-hard exam coming up and your prep is not getting you or your friends anywhere? Drop it all , have a party, because everyone knows it’s relative marking! So when the whole class fails, you don’t lose a thing! Just start prep for the next one where you can make a difference on your scores, top the class if you can!
Similarly, at the work front, thing’s not going too well? You should know the basic difference between which deadlines matter and which don’t. Your boss will and I mean WILL, stress the fact that all the deadlines provided NEED to be finished immediately!
Do this – Prioritise

Think why…
When you lose it, you start blaming others or screaming at your subordinate. Let’s say you don’t have a subordinate, you take it out on anyone in the corridor.
Stop at right there!
Why are you doing this? Your reputation sinks as fast as your temper vents out. It takes a split second for both. Words once said, can’t really be taken back. Just like time, once it’s gone – it is gone.
Before you do that, freeze and think ‘why should I let myself lose a reputation I built over the years?’ Truth is – The people who agitated you, do not even deserve your temper.Cross check your work and track down where the problem is and solve it. This gives you a lesser headache than tracking down who’s fault it is and blasting them, you are much smarter than that!
Do this – Think before you speak

Weak point
Do you go for a smoke to get it out of your system? Gulp down alcohol to feel numb?
People note points like that. It’s easier for them to target you when they know you are weak. Not only are the additives bad for health, you unknowingly give an opportunity to others to put their finger in your eye and give you pain.
Do this – Don’t become an addict
If you are able to follow these 3 aspects, its guaranteed you cannot be the one who’s losing an argument.
