Why Procrastination

Many people go through life doing the things they should have done yesterday tomorrow in order to relax today. This approach ultimately leaves them more stressed out.

The true meaning of procrastination is to put off doing something, out of habitual carelessness or plain laziness. This is a meaning right out a dictionary, and it is so true. Some people procrastinate because it is a habit, while others are just plain lazy.

People never realize that instead of procrastinating, they should just got the job done, and it would avoid the depression that usually surfaces. Many people procrastinate because they really don’t want to do the anything; or they allow themselves to get caught up in other things. Sometimes they allow themselves to become “conveniently” distracted. Others procrastinate so much that things begin to roll into the next day; then they become overwhelmed, frustrated and then they finally decide to do nothing, which means they got absolutely nothing done.

Adults, who procrastinate as a child, will take this negative behavior into adulthood, so parents need to work with their children, to avoid them from becoming a procrastinator. If you’re a procrastinator, your child will learn from your actions, because actions speak louder than words

What I find to be a great guide; is something I heard a long time ago.

Procrastination, is the Assassination of Motivation

Which very simply put; means that by procrastinating, you are killing your motivation, thus destroying your dreams. Every dreamer is motivated to accomplish and attain their dreams, so they do what they must, and not put things off.

Procrastination, Assassinates Motivation, thus you have just destroyed your dreams.
