Would a Vegetarian Mcdonald’s Fly Here in America?

Who knows. Hope it is healthy, non-processed Vegetarian food at any rate…..

It is said that in India, the McDonald Items were always divided into two groups, on Vegetarian and the other types of food.  And since McDonald’s are pretty much Premiere in Fast Foods, one would consider that they try to adopt to whatever that Culture dictates in all parts of the world.  Many Americans are Meat eaters, so we can under how McDonald’s operates here.

The concept Vegetarian items do not  seem strange and since Americans love items with Beef and Pork, we may never know how a Vegetarian Restaurant would be, however.  They plan on introducing this all vegetarian McDonald’s next year in Amritsar, home of the Golden Temple, a Sikh Holy Site. Here are some Vegetarian items done their way in India:

the Maharajah Mac, is a chicken version of a Big Mac

A McAloo Tikki, a breaded potato and pea patty on a bun with vegetable sauce, ketchup, red onions and tomato slices……

Doesn’t sound so bad.  As Francine Knowles, In India, Restaurants don’t sell Beef or Pork.  Cows are considered sacred, therefore Beef is a no-no.

McDonald’s I must say always try to meet better and more Nutritional Items to their list of items.  Many of us outgrow McDonald’s but admittedly, they are always there for us……. :)

I’ve never liked McDonald’s, but if they put together a menu in one restaurant as varied as their worldwide menu, I’d be lovin’ it too.
