Yotam: One Photo Can Change Your Life

Yotam is one of the photos I like the most so far on the internet. The way the photographer took them and the expression of the boy and also what it means for me in life makes me want to write something about it. The photo itself is very beautiful, showing kids expressions and laughs and all that stuff, but what I like most of all is the Life lesson I get from it. Everyday when I wake up I remember I am way older than what I was the last time I woke up. Maybe I still have the same legal age, but I have always more 24 hours and that my friend is a LOT of time, ask any champion who knows how to value time.

You can see also how fast life comes and goes. I am sure you still can remember some important moments in your life like the day you finished high school, the day you got your dream job, the day you graduated and all that stuff. It all seems like it was just 24 hours ago! Now you realise it was probably 30 years ago. Where did all that time go? You can see even faster changes in children. It seems like it was yesterday that this very little boy was born and today she is already nine years old… Time really flies.

First of all the boy is cute, not just cute, awesome! The expression of his face says it all. The expression in different situations, when he is sleepy, when he is laughing, when he is happy, when he is confused… Just fabulous!

You can also see what Bishop Jamanus said in the movie King Arthur 2004 “At last we are all but players in an ever changing world”. You see, one year now that you are old is not that much, and just take a close look at the changes in the boy.

You almost cannot recognize him, you do only because of the way her father photographed him. The photos were taken with the same camera in the same place, everything exactly like the year before.

You see, you do not need to worry about a thing, or to be young forever or to keep healthy forever… Just live life exactly like it is today because today is the perfect day. You see, this little boy will never ever again be small and cute and funny and lovely. You need to take it all today brother, tomorrow he will be grown up and you cannot play with him anymore.

Since I love all kids, specially my very young cousins, I feel this change a lot. We always look for tomorrow, for the future and all that yada yada and we are missing the best things in our lives and in the lives of those we love.
