A Good Man is a Great Man

This is an age of fashions and sophistication. Modern life is sophisticated and complex. Simple living and high thinking is a thing of the past. Complex living and low thinking has replaced this motto. Most people are artificial and superficially sophisticated. They have one thing in their heart and another on their lips. A large majority of people in the cities are deceitful. The face is no more the index of mind. Only expert Psychologists can study the character of a man from the out look of a person. The new generation is curt and smart. It is beyond recognition.

For good manners one must maintain a good personality. A clean dress, a clean body, well brushed teeth and hair style, dress in keeping with the times, fluent speech and conversation, certain patience in listing of the viewpoint of other party are necessary qualifications of a person professing to know manners. These qualifications are important for success in any walk of life. Their importance is all pervading in modern times. Gone are the days when simplicity, innocence honesty and similar traits of this kind had their own value. These traits make a simpleton of any intelligent person in modern society.

In this world of complexity and artificiality, manners are all important. One cannot move in society unless one knows all about good manners and possesses them. Even if one may not have good meals, one has maintained certain minimum standers of dress and life style. Manners have become a part and parcel life. With out proper manners one is not welcome any where. However, honest one may be one’s intentions and however, innocent one’s behaviour, unless one can put up tactful show of manners one will not earn the respected of one’s fellow beings.

So live with the manners, you will become great in feature.
