An Attempt at Writing the Survival Guide for Modern Man

Now what is the greater moral message?  I have said this world will continue to get worse.  In addition, today I wanted to write the Survival Guide for Modern Man.

Let me try it.  Dreams are great as long as they are attainable dreams.  Life, however, does not get its beauty from giving us everything we want.  Again, I offer that life is not about what we want, but what we need.

We need the basics of life.  We need food, shelter, and clothes.  We need friends, family, and that special romantic lover. We need time to rejoice in our accomplishments.  We need recreation, diversion, and entertainment.

Furthermore, I thought I would need to write at least four pages to truly explain how to survive in the modern world.  However, all we need is to understand our environment in order to understand were we can get the basics of life.

My closing point is on what I was thinking about yesterday.  I asked myself what would it take to put the people of the world on the road to safety and personal accomplishments in light of all the violence.  My conclusion was that all good people would have to unite and declare war on ruthless thugs.

I wish I would say that I have confidence in this happening.  However, I do believe modern man has passed the point of no return.  This led to me to try to give the message today that it is possible to live in chaotic environments and still have a peaceful and enjoyable life.

It is all our responsibility not to betray good concepts such as liberty, truth, and honesty.  However, today, in our modern world, these concepts are protected in the individual’s heart. They are no longer concepts of the masses. Regardless, of our circumstances, each one of us has to maintain a decent nature as we humbly pursue life.
