Guys and Makeup

About the 21st century idea of men within makeup. Is it allowed? Are men giving up on masculinity?

Make-up in the 21st Century is becoming more and more popular, as well as the age of the people who are using it is getting younger and younger.

You all see the adverts (as well as films) when the little girls invade their mother’s ‘draws of beauty’ and find themselves trying on next to everything, not to realise or aid in improvement of appearance, but for own personal enjoyment. Now when boys do the same thing at that age, for some parents, worry can settle in. Bless those parents.

I’ve never understood the idea that boys playing with GI-Joe Action Men makes them straight, I’d rather they played with Barbie & Cindy dolls; involving fondling… Confusion has definitely settled in.

Regardless, what would you do if your little boy was wearing make-up? For the attention? For the improvement of appearance (or what they may think improves their appearance but you highly disagree).

I feel the 21st Century has brought on much pressure upon men to keep up with the idea of being beautiful, clean and somewhat flawless (with a masculine edge). I mean, the women of today, the diets, the surgeries, the haircuts; perhaps the men are feeling left out… or even left behind?

The gender lines are now blurred and the population and society is finding difficulty to regain control. Everything has being thrown up in the air and slamming them down just to put them into chronological order, to me personally, is an invasion on human evolution.

Boys in Makeup? Evolution? Yes it sounds proposterous. But without flare, without happiness, without comfortability and the idea of sharing and creation, isn’t that in itself evolution?
It’s most definitely a diplomatic subject.
