A septuagenarian father and four children have been brought before a court in Missouri (USA) to hear the charges they are charged for alleged sexual abuse committed against several children between 1988 and 1995, local media reported.

It has also been arrested a sixth person, a man of 55 years of Kansas City and, apparently, is a “partner” of five other men.

Edward Burrell Mohler, 77, and her children, aged between 47 and 53, have appeared in court handcuffed Lafayette County and clad in orange jumpsuits, as reported by the Kansas City Star

While county officials lifted a local scandal with the search for bodies and new victims, the trial judge assigned to the accused several serious sexual crimes with children, including allegations of forced sodomy, rape of a child under 12 years and use another child in a sexual act.

The six arrested, detained at the local jail on bail of between $ 30,000 and $ 75,000, not uttered in his defense allegations or appeared to have legal representation, according to City Star

The victims were forced to write about what happened

The case was opened in mid-August when a woman of 26 years went to the local authorities with the allegations, which also included fake wedding with a family, and abortion of an 11-year-old told the local press agent Bill Lowe, the Missouri Highway Patrol.

The woman and five other brothers, who also signed the petition, explained that after forcing them to commit various sexual acts the accused had forced them to write about what happened, save the stories in glass jars and buried in the garden to get remove them from his memory.

Local authorities continue searching the rural property of Mohler in search of those testimonies hidden in glass jars and corpses.

County Sheriff, Kerrick Alumbaugh, told local media that are “indications” that “there is a body or bodies buried in several different places,” but would not reveal identities.

“I think there are more victims, and I think that in light of the evidence, all researchers also believe it is here,” Alumbaugh said. “A pedophile is not enough with one.”

The local church spokesman of the Community of Christ, Linda L. Booth, confirmed that three of the five accused priests were there, adding to them the license has been suspended following the allegations.

Booth added that there were community leaders or engaged in tasks in which youth participate, although one time it was registered to do work with children.
