Well, Im perhaps one of the most sexy men I know… i know that sounds arrogant… but its not only because of my appearance, dress well, stable, etc. its mainly because I am very confident, almost aloof and indifferent (which signals a lot of women trying to obtain something they feel they can not have “challenge”)… there are literally times where I can walk into a crowded room and get everyone’s head turning… of course your biggest fans will be the ones that turn to their friends and claim “who the hell does he think he is”… without even knowing who you are yet… be careful, sometimes people immediately “hate” you is sending signals how intrigued they are by you… of course you can screw all that up by going up and being arrogant, poorly spoken or an entire dweeb… you also have to know how to relax, calm down, make someone feel comfortable… that exudes sex appeal

This is a great article and I agree that women have various and varying views on what's hot and sexy. Every woman has different tastes and there is no set image of sexy that drives every woman crazy in love.

PS: Nelson Doyle. While it may be in you personal experience that women do not find inventors attractive or sexy I have to disagree with you because I find the inventive, inovative, and scientific type of men very sexy and attractive. I love the brainy type, mainly because they are the ones who go far in i=life and leave a mark on society.

are you guys serious? i read that "man" version of this ("what defines sexy to a man") and didn't comment bc i'm not a man, i don't know how they think. but this one is just ridiculous, generalizing that woman are attracted to smiles and not bodies, we're more picky bc back in the day women couldn't vote, we all like sweaty sportsmen, and rockstars drive us crazy, so crazy that we can't distinguish fantasy from reality? how patronizing! c'mon give us some credit!

and did anyone read comment#5? seriously what a load of bollocks!
