Anger, its causes & remedy.

 Why we get angry

By nature some people have a tendency to get angry easily even at small matters which hardly has any importance in our life. Anger is a healthy and normal human emotion but have we ever mulled what exactly triggers this negative emotion ? Repeated failure to achieve a particular goal, domestic squabbles, unhealthy office environment, daily traffic, stress, personal insult, financial crisis, ego, are outlined as some reasons of anger. Memories of traumatic or enraging events can also trigger angry feelings. When we get angry, the heart rate, arterial tension increases, cortisol (the stress hormone) decreases, and the left hemisphere of the brain becomes more stimulated, according to a new investigation lead by scientists from the University of Valencia (UV) that analyses the changes in the brain’s cardiovascular, hormonal and asymmetric activation response when we get angry. Some are rather too loud in expressing their anger for instance they yell for nothing, throw things away, exchange heated arguments or even physically abuse others. Again there are also people who suppress their anger for a prolonged period of time, which is quite destructive and leads to greater damage. Individuals of such kind often stay quiet, don’t mix with people much, get physically ill are irksome at times. In this regard it should be noted that silence is not always best answer to anger. There is a limit to the amount of stress we take and eventually anger erupts if we are further unable to tolerate any stress or discomfort. Attempts should be made to control anger. Laughter is indeed the best medicine. Exercising or brisk walking also works wonders in alleviating anger. You can also stop focusing on negative scenario and stay optimistic. Hope some of these tips can help us to have control over our anger. Anger is not the solution to any tribulations, it will only deteriorate matters.
