The IMI Galil

The IMI Galil assault rifle is Israel’s standard assault rifle manufactured by Israeli Military Industries Ltd. Created in both 5.56mm and 7.62mm versions, the Galil is based almost entirely on the action of the Russian AK-47 assault rifles. Unlike most 5.56mm assault rifles, the Galil uses a 35-round magazine and a 50-round magazine on the longer and heavy barreled LMG version. The Galil is being replaced in the field by the Tavor TAR-21 (which you will see next) over the next few years.

The IMI Tavor TAR-21

The infantry service weapon chosen by the IDF. The Tavor was developed in cooperation with the IDF. It provides high reliability and accuracy under extreme conditions as well as increased hit probability during exertion. It’s a compact rifle with a long barrel. Ambidextrous, advanced and an accurate sighting system attached directly to the barrel. This is human engineering that increases the user’s comfort and confidence level.

The Desert Eagle

Made famous by Hollywood and First Person Shooter games such as Counter-Strike, the Desert Eagle is a gas-operated semi-automatic pistol made by IMI. Magnum Research developed and patented the original Desert Eagle that been 75% functional. The prototype had an operating bolt, full gas operation, and excellent shooting characteristics. Due to its large caliber the Desert Eagle is very popular gun in movies and by collectors.

The Corner Shot

The Corner Shot is a special purpose weapon that can fire around corners. It was designed in the early 2000s for SWAT teams and special forces in situations usually involving terrorists and hostages. It shoots pistols as well as grenade launchers. Its purpose is like that of a wartime periscope rifle; it allows its user to both see and attack an armed target, without being exposed to the enemy.
