Fascinating Ancient War Helmets

These are the most impressive looking helmets I’ve ever seen on my life. I hope you liked them too.

Helmet was once used by many warriors to protect themselves when they’re in war. However, some of those helmets will actually gives small protection. This kind of helmet is usually used for warrior to look great instead of protection.

In here I will list my favorite ancient helmets. Some of them are actually helmets that’s made on modern time and used in some movies. Here are they :

War Helm Of The Witchking

This is the helmet of Lord of The Nazgul or the Witchking in Lord of The Rings. It’s said that this helmet was made from the stolen souls of the dead. The story said no man could kill the Witchking. In the end, the Witchking was killed by Eowyn, a woman warrior from Gondor. This helmet is 38 inches tall so it would be impressive to wear this helmet.

King Leonidas Helmet

King Leonidas, the one who lead 300 Spartans army to fight against one million Persian army was once used this Helmet to fight against Xerxes. Three days of surviving is enough to make Xerxes find out that these 300 Men are not just men… they’re the Spartans. The hair crests on the helmet resemble the greatness of the Spartan King.

Roman Centurion Helmet

This is the helmet that’s used my the Centurion Roman army in the past. Centurion army is the Elite Infantry of Rome that’s commanded by a Century. The height of the hair crest resemble the rank of the person in the army.

Thracian Helmet

This helmet was used by the Roman Gladiator who fight in the Colosseum back in the past. Their enemy could vary from Lion or a powerful barbarian from Saxon. The shape of this helmet resembles the might of the Gladiator who fight to entertain the audiences.

Daisho Kake Kabuto

This is the helmet that’s used by the brave Samurai to fight against the Emperor’s enemies. The look of this helmet has scared off many foes back in the past and it resembles the bravery of the Samurai.

Crusader Great Helm

This helm was used by the Elite Swordsman from Jerusalem and other European Kingdoms to fight against the Christian foes in the Holy War. The cross mark on the helmet resembles the holiness of the Swordsman who wear this helmet.

European Knight Helmet

This is the helmet that’s used by Noble Knights who ride their horses to fight in the war. The cavalry army who wear this helmet usually come last to finish the war with their powerful tramples.

Black Sentinal Helmet

This helmet was used by the powerful Black Knights who love to raid many Kingdoms for their evil purpose. Most of the Black Knights come from the Germany and usually fight against the Holy Teutonic Knights.

Hoplites Helmet

Hoplites are heavy infantry from Greece that’s formed by the citizen to arm themselves against the mighty Roman armies. Almost all famous heroes from Greece have fought as Hoplites at least at one point in their life.
