Helping The Military Personnel Both at Home and Out on Active Duty!

At the moment there are a lot of us who, like myself sit at home and do not really know what we can do to help. We see the images of the soldiers going through a town which is miles away, and other than making donations to charities which become nameless acts of kindness, some of us could be much better placed using the skills we have acquired in life to help those that are coming back from a tour of duty.

There is a website that I run that allows us all to do just this. If you go to http://www.armedservicesforum.com you will find a forum that aims to provide members of all of the armed forces, active or otherwise with some level of support, comfort and in my own words, I want to see a time where no service personnel has to spend hours looking for information, as it should all be right in front of them.

They are after all fighting for our freedoms, so don’t we all owe them something in return? Surely giving up 5 minutes to put a few tips about housing in your local area or jobs that are going around you isn’t going to hurt you at all, and may well help one of the military personnel in your local area.
