Messenger Pigeons, Trained for War in China
by The Chinese are ready in case the country’s communication system would yield, with an army of messenger pigeons, trained to convey vital military messages.
China has a military division of pigeons since 1950, but this counts only a few hundred birds have so far been used mainly for communication with bases on islands in the South China Sea, reports The Telegraph.
