What are military brats? Military brats are kids who’s parents are in the military. Not only that, but because their parents are stationed in different locations they also have to move with them. Being a military brat can be stressful because you leave behind your friends, your home, your school, and things like that. It can be hard for kids. But it’s not all that bad. Getting to see new countries besides a America? One kid decribed “Just knowing that America isn’t the center of the universe is just..just awsome.”

Military brats get that are stationed overseas or anywhere get to sightsee and absorb in the surroundings and just get used to the culture there. Which is another thing, they also learn new cultures. Like eating in Chinese resturaunts, Korean resturaunts, or even German resturaunts. They also get to learn traditional bows, and visit museums to learn about their past.

So moving all the time really isn’t that bad, you loose friends-you gain even more.
