My Top Five Combat Rifles of All Time
by My opinion of the top five combat rifles of all time.
1. AK-47 (Automatic-Kalashnikov) – It’s cheap, durable, and has been proven over time. If the world ever turns to anarchy, This will be the weapon I’m carrying.
2. K98k Mauser – A great, powerful bolt action rifle. Proven throughout many wars.
3. M1 Garand – The rifle that helped America win WWII. A real piece of American ingenuity.
4. M16 – Another great American rifle with great accuracy and handling.
5. Lee-Enfield SMLE- A British Bolt-action rifle boasting a 10 round magazine. It built it’s reputation on reliabilty, accuracy, and a phenomanal rate of fire.

The M16 could actually be attributed to a lot of deaths during the Vietnam era. It would jam and the parts would wear out fast.
In modern combat the M4 is a lot better because the muzzle velocity is almost the same but the M4 has more features that appeal to our current combat operations such as: collapsable buttstock, rail systems and it is more compact for mounting and dismounting. It also jams less because of its size.
Also, which M16 are you talking about? A4? A2?
I don’t know but I’m guessing your knowledge in this area is severly lacking. Either that or you took about 2 minutes to write this. You should try going into the specs of the weapons, the accessories that are available and why the weapons prove to be so great. You offer nothing valuable, not even a conclusive thought on any of the above mentioned weapons.
