Mystery Missile Now a Jet Plane?

Tuesday’s unexplained missile launch is being reevaluated. Experts are now saying that the Earth can distort the appearance of a jet contrail so much as to make it look similar to a missile, giving it the appearance of flying straight up. Contrailscience.com suggests that a jet contrail can look nearly identical to that of a missile.

The left picture shows the exhaust of the “mystery missile” seen off of the San Diego coast Tuesday morning and the picture on the right shows what is reported to be trails of a jet plane. The site reports that according to the contrast, the object had to be moving fairly at fairly slow speeds, unlike the speed of a military missile.
