New Terrorism or Old Killing
by Terrorism is nothing but brutal killing. Killing has been going on for ages since the first murder and will continue till the world ends. Hatred is universal and war has been ordained so can we really bring peace on this planet or lead it ourselves to its very disastrous end?
We are victims to our own terrorism approach in this society. Breeding hatred contempt greed and avarice where ever we move and stay. What make us so full of anger fury and rage?
I believe it is the wish to command and control. These characteristics are certainly inherent in our nature as war strife and murder is so common.
We all know and remember the first murder in the history of mankind, since then humanity has not seen any respite. It is a pity and a tragedy that no lessons have been learnt.This Earth has recorded a long list of high class deliberately planned deaths. Murder mysteries yet unsolved are countless now.No Sherlock Holmes or Hercule Pierot may be able to solve them. Deaths by the hundreds and deaths by the thousands. Deaths by bombs, by storms , by earthquakes, and by accidents. Deaths all around. Horror in the extreme.
And then what is extremism? Not to think of Death? or to take it as normal and not think of how it is coming?
Can we say it is the Old Killing that is still going on or is it the new terrorism?
History has a long list of terrorists . Can we forget Hitler, Changez Khan or the ancient Barbarians or characters like Count Dracula?
Literature keeps reminding us of terrorists who kept fearsome fear alive in the tender hearts , and fairy tales and fanciful adventure stories could not really push away the dark dreary horror of the night monsters robbers pirates and serial killers of the night.
Animated cartoons have disfigured figures that appear horribly distorted and ugly to look at , in fact most of the world has turned towards terrorism of a variety of sorts. The mindset has become prone to terrorising and killing at almost free will.
‘Kill the pig, kill the pig’ from the novel Lord of the Flies rings in my ears, the island without law and order , without any elders became a killing field. So what if the Earth has become a killing ground! Nothing seems to matter at the moment.
Anticipation of tear gas shells ‘lathi charge’ rubber bullets, this is the fear and terror coming up—
