We are lucky to be Canadians. This essay is about Canadian soldiers who are known to be great peace keepers and people who give their lives to protect us from war and danger. War is a terrible thing. That’s why we live in Canada where there is no war. We are very lucky to be here. Most importantly we should not forget the soldiers that protect us. They should be respected. That is why we have Remembrance Day. The soldiers are in distant lands fighting for Canada, risking their lives for us.

War is a very terrible thing. People die for no reason. Countries that are at war are risking the safety of its citizens and innocent people die because of it. People are stuck in their homes without food because they are at a risk of getting shot if they go outside. They also can’t get food because the people selling it will probably be hiding too. Countries go to war because they want something from the other country, they are protecting it, or they are trying to capture the country.

To honor the brave soldiers that gave their lives for our protection we have Remembrance Day. Remembrance Day is a day when we think of all the soldiers that gave their lives fighting and remember the great sacrifices they made. If it wasn’t for them we might not even be here. Our soldiers are proud and brave people who will risk their lives for their country and the safety of the people who live in it. Remembrance Day is celebrated on November 11. It is also know as Veteran’s day.

Canadian soldiers are known to be great peace keepers. They go in to the other countries that are at war and try to help the citizens. They are like police accept they are from Canada and fight with the enemy so they don’t harm the citizens. They are proud to be here and help the Country out and the citizens of the country. They are sent to wars to aid the citizens but not to kill.

In conclusion I think that the soldiers are proud and brave people. They protect us from war and stop wars in other places. We shouldn’t forget about all the people who are trying to keep us safe. I am proud to be Canadian and to live in Canada were I am safe.
