The World’s Most Fascinating Modern Weapons

A list of all the new and most amazing weapons.

  1. WRC Infantry Automatic Weapon- LWRC’s new IAR has a dual-mode fire mechanism that allows it to function as an automatic magazine-fed, not heavy machine gun when prolonged suppressive fire is needed. Its feature of being able to keep firing for hundreds of rounds gives it the lead over other automatic assault weapons. The weapon is given a flash suppressor that does double duty as a sound suppressor mount.

2. Knights Armament M110 Sniper Rifle – An anti-person and light material sniper that fires 7.62 mm bullets to a range of 3000 feet, this magazine-fed mechanism exceeds the rate of fire, power and lethality of the M24 bolt-action rifle.  With its better performance, the M110 gives the sniper a better target effectiveness and reduces the chances of detection and counter-fire.

3. Corner Shot 7.62 Assault Pistol Rifle-  The Corner Shot is a special weapon that can shoot around corners. It was designed for SWAT teams and special forces in situations usually including terrorists and hostages. It shoots small pistols as well as grenades. Its purpose is like the one of a periscope rifle; it allows its handler to both see and attack an armed target, without being vulnerable to the enemy.

4. Knight’s Armament Personal Defense Weapon – The PDW is a small, powerful and light weapon that’s designed to be carried all the time and easy to use in confined areas.  The small size also makes it easier to hide in an environment where the user needs to be stealthy, like that of VIP personal protection. The PDW’s 6×35 mm bullets can beat most Kevlar body armor and has better stopping power than usual 9 mm ammo.

CLASSIC WEAPONS

1. AK-47-

The AK-47 was one of the first true good assault rifles and, due to it being durable, low production costs and ease of firing, the gun and its many variants remain the most used assault rifles in the world. So much so that more AK-type rifles have been created than all other assault rifles combined. It was also used by most of the member provinces of the former Warsaw Pact. The AK-47 was also used as a general structure for the production of many other types of individual firearms.

2. M16 and other versions-

The M16 is the US Military name for the Armalite AR-15 rifle. Colt bought the rights to the AR-15 and currently uses that name only for semi-automatic versions of the gun.

The M16 family has been the standard infantry rifle of the United States military since the 1960s. Including its variants, it has been in use by 15 NATO nations, and is the most produced gun in its caliber. The M16 entered U.S. Army service in 1964.

3. The Famas – The Famas is a bull-pup assault rifle designed and made in France by MAS which is located in Saint-Étienne, now a member of the French government-owned, Nexter (before being renamed, GIAT Industries) group. It is the standard rifle of the French Military.

4. The Desert Eagle is a large gas operated semi-automatic pistol designed beautifully by Magnum Research in the U.S., and producted primarily in Israel by IWI (Israel Weapon Industries). Manufacturing was relocated to Saco Defense in Maine from 1996 to 2000 which used the XIX designation, but went back to Israel when Saco was bought by General Dynamics.

I almost liked this. However you failed to get all your facts quite right, and that corner-gun is just an insult.
