Veteran’s Day

by JumpingHobo in Military, November 15, 2009

My favorite day of the year, we honor the men and women who have fallen, the people who died to give me the right to write this very article.

Veteran’s Day has come again, and passed once again. November 11, the day we remember the men and women who give up their tomorrow for our tomorrow. They spill their blood for us, the American people and what do we give as a thank you? Nothing, we go about our lives caught up in our right-wing of leftist opinion on war, and whether or not we should be fighting. Well guess what, our troops are fighting, they are sacrificing their lives for us. And we only have one day dedicated to them? Bullshit, when you wake up in the morning where you are? In your house safe and free, you go to work and you have the freedom to criticize your boss all you want, you earn money that says “God Bless America”, and those rights and freedoms were paid for in blood. And you would throw them away so easily so freely, why the hell would you do such a thing. You take for granted what America is, “The home of the brave and the land of the free”

If you could read this thank your teacher, if you can read this in English thank a marine!
