War

The pictures of the horrid events of the Vietnam War open the eyes of ignorance…

The pictures of the horrid events of the Vietnam War open the eyes of ignorance.  These pictures are representatives of every human emotion and physical problem for they connect us with the tragic events of the conflict and the sense of pain and loss. This is the price for the solution. Is this price necessary or not!?  Peace cannot exist without war.

Why?  I will explain to you in three crucial points, War is a way of getting things done;   Peace isn’t correct; and War is beneficial for humanity for it helps us defeat injustice. War is an uneducated way of solving issues on a global and individual scale. There is no conceivable substitute for war. In fact, it is a human necessity! History proves this on multiple scales. No matter who you are, everyone has resorted to violence at some point. The reality is that the rush of the power, which only God and his servants may utilize correctly, is overwhelming and causes us to crave more.

Power is a form of human weakness, and until another solution comes that feeds our vices, comes and ends the struggle, the desire for power will continue.  I will agree that the losses of lives are a painful cost of something of this sort of resolution. Peace has always been its opposition but is still unable to perform in the same potency that its opposite maintains.  For example, in World War Two, Hitler wanted to expand Germany because the Treaty of Versailles crippled Germany and redistributed some of its land.  Hitler simply did what he thought was suitable for he had the idea of self entitlement to what was once his. This tactical invasion took over parts of Poland (September 1, 1939). Nonetheless, War exploded because the Polish thought they had the right to maintain their land. This shows us that if a more peaceful approach was attempted it would fail because both sides claimed this territory. The “peaceful” might even bring out the same conflict of invasion. This brings the next point.

There is conflict in Peace.  Just as the Yin and Yang are used to show that there is good in evil and evil in the good, the same is with peace and war. Peace is an absence of War and War is the absence of Peace. They depend on each other for their existence. A so-called peaceful tactic could still be a war.  Not in the sense to pick-up arms but to have a verbal conflict, a clash of ideologies.  Everyone has an opinion.  If I say the “right” words to someone’s face, that person will begin to get violent. This is “peaceful” because there are no weapons but still it becomes War. As the violence increases it becomes a War as we know it. War is dependent on peace. To truly obtain Peace everyone must give into the demands of others. All people should respect a request and give into it. This would be incorrect in cases of justice.  A criminal is now allowed to steal when he demands an object.   This is purely ludicrous.  Peace is something that must work when all of humanity is selfless and loving. Only once sin is completely gone can Peace take place. Until we stop lying, stealing, and ruining the lives of others,  we cannot stop conflict.

War not only has the problem of remaining but it has to take place for Rights, such as Rights of Women, and the Races. These were all obtained by rioting and conflicts of Ideology.  Some took up arms, others didn’t, but we still improved humanity because of this conflict. This is why War is beneficial to humanity.

With these reason we can show, oh so strongly, that Peace cannot exist and will not exist because War is better.   Peace is a simply a word we use to make ourselves  look like humanist and concerned, but it only confuses.  War is not always the pushing of the pawns and the slaughtering of people but a negotiation for the betterment and for the resolution.  We may try to obtain the idea of Peace and place it upon the world, but when we do, remember my words of disbelief in such a system. War brings this state of Peace, the costs will be numerous but so will the benefits.
