K98k

The K98k was a German made 8mm bolt action rifle. it fired and 8mm Mauser cartridge and had a magazine captivity of 5 rounds. it was the third in a line of German made rifles that started with the Gehwer98 in 1898. the K98k had an effective range of 500 yards and a maximum range of 1000 yards when fitted with and optical sight. Adolf Hitler declared this to be his favorite rifle of all time and the rifle was used in an attempted assassination on him. the rifle weighed 3.5Kg and was 110cm long. over 14 million of these guns were made between 1940-1945. the rifle was said to be one of the best rifles in the world.

Lee Enfield

The Lee Enfield was a British made .303 caliber bolt action rifle used between 1890 and 1990, it held 10 rounds and had an effective range of 300 yards and a maximum of 800 yards with optics. The Lee Enfield was called the Soldiers best fiend in WW1 because any soldier that used it fell in love with it. the gun weighed in at 4Kg and was 113cm long. its rate of fire was around 20-30 rounds a minuet. The Lee Enfield is still used by some countries as a Sniper Rifle. 17 Million Lee Enfield rifles were made between 1890-1950

MP-40

The MP-40 was a Nazi Germany made 9mm blow-back SMG (Sub-Machingun) made between 1940 and 1945. it had a 32 round detachable box magazine and fired 500 rounds a minuet. The MP-40 had an Effective range of 100 meters and a maximum range of 200 meters. The MP-40 weighed in at 4kg and was 63cm long (83cm when stock extended). Th MP-40 was mainly issued to Officers, NCO’s and Members of the SS. approximately 1 Million MP-40’s were made between 1940 and 1945.

M1Garand

The M1 Garand was a Semi-Automatic, 8 round, gas operated, .30-06 caliber rifle made in America in WW2. The M1 has an Effective range of 500 yards and fired at 80 rounds a minuet. The M1 weighed 4.5Kg and was 110cm long. President Roosevelt called it “the gun that won the war”. The M1 was used from 1938 up until the Vietnam war in 1963, it is still used be the cost guard in America. The M1 was replaced by the M14 and M16 in 1964.
