I don't think that the rich are the only ones responsible to give more. I believe in a combination of individuals (rich and poor) plus the world leaders working towards a goal. But that is a dream - because some governments are corrupt and no matter how much money is spent it will never get where it has too. And some non-profit organizations that are given hefty grants for social programs do not utilize the money well or pocket it, and the government ways to track it are not the best. Also, I've witness the ungratefulness of some families in need, towards a free service, and also the take-take give me-give me attitude as well, or the, but I am too busy to do my part. Billions can be given by the rich, but until the poor changes its mentality, and the government stops fueling an attitude of apathy, and each one of us teaches/learns responsibility for ourselves and other humans - it is all wasted money.
