Charlie Sheen Loves His Work

Anyone one can ramble about what’s popular. Take Charlie Sheen for instance. He knows that there’s nothing quite like loving the work that you do. Unfortunately, not everyone has the privilege to be able to do solely what they love. Love is a side salad. I mean don’t get me wrong, it’s good, but no one can live off lettuce alone! The crazy thing, is that there are all these trolls who, promote salad as a full meal. Metephorically speaking of course.

If I were to drop everything that I was doing to pursue my passion full time, I’d be homeless, sick, and hungry. To quote the guy from the band Silverchair, “You say that money isn’t everything, but I’d like to see you live without it.” The kid was fifteen when he wrote the song “Tomorrow” and that line shows more wisdom in it than 99% of adults have.

Who are these people that tell you to put your life on hold, buy their crappy product, and suddenly, you’ll be a multi-millionaire like them?! I always kind of thought that if one of these “silver bullet” products actually worked, then why isn’t everybody using it? It’s because there is more money to be made selling the stuff than you’ll actually get using it.
The human spirit is unstoppable though. People love to think to themselves, “there’s got to be something out there that works.” And they put so much work into finding the best “get rich quick” product, that had they just put all their energy into something that would pay off in the long run, they’d be rich already. It’s a hard, long lesson to learn, but it pays off in the end, that is, if you actually learn it. Work hard at what you love, and you will be rewarded, like Charlie Sheen!
