About the positive and negative effects of globalization.
American culture seems to be the standard and many of the other cultures such as China are turning its economy and government away from their socialistic ideas, and more towards American ideals. With the invention of the Internet we are opening our culture to other countries with the click of a button. We are spreading our ideals throughout the developing world by providing aid and help with forming governments similar to ours.

Positive Effects of Globalization |
We can get more diverse products from other countries and that increases our standard of living. |
Globalization gives the European union a larger market to sell its goods. |
It has opened the countries to the ideas of the west and allowed them to have an industrial revolution. |
Allowed them to get tools and medicine to better their lives. |

Negative Effects of Globalization |
A lot of our companies have used outsourcing to get cheap labor causing massive job loss in the US. |
Will cause the destruction of the European Farming Industry |
Due to the industrial revolution there is massive air pollution. |
They expose themselves to many diseases that they have no immunity toward or medicines to prevent. |
I believe that globalization is a good thing because it allows growth between countries and opens the doors to resources that were not previously available. Now that we have the resources available we can develop the technologies that will increase the quality of life for the world. After China opened up trade with us we could receive items that were useful to our daily lives, thus increasing some of our productivity etc.
