How CAIR Exploits the Issue of Civil Rights in Order to Further Its Cultural Jihad

"I wouldn’t want to create the impression that I wouldn’t like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future. But I’m not going to do anything violent to promote that. I’m going to do it through education."
-Ibrahim Hooper, cofounder of CAIR.

“Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth.”
-CAIR chairman Omar Ahmad

“Fighting for freedom…fighting for Islam – that is not suicide. They [the suicide bombers] kill themselves for Islam.”
-CAIR chairman Omar Ahmad.

CAIR [Council on American-Islamic Relations] is constantly described in the liberal mainstream media as a human rights group  and as a civil rights group. CAIR likes to portray itself as such. CAIR also claims to condemn terrorism, while publicly supporting terrorist groups such as Hamas, Hezbollah and Palestinian Islamic Jihad [PIJ]. CAIR has a section on its website labelled “CAIR’s anti-terrorism Campaign.” In its “anti-terrorism campaign” section, CAIR says:

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has consistently and persistently condemned terrorism and the killing of innocent civilians.  CAIR has also organized fatwas, petition drives, placed advertisements in national and local newspapers, ran public service announcements on television and radio stations, helped local Mosques across the United States in holding open houses, published Op-Eds in local and national newspapers, conducted inter-faith meetings and worked with scholars to disseminate the peaceful teachings of Islam.

There is video footage of Jawhar “Joe” Badran, a CAIR-Florida representative, of expressing support for Hamas in a CAIR rally. When asked about Hamas committing a terrorist act, Badran says, “I’m saying that the State of Israel has committed a terrorist act.”

When asked if Hamas is a terrorist organization, Joe Badran says,”Hamas is not a terrorist organization.” Other CAIR demonstrators in the rally have also said no to the question of Hamas being a terrorist organization. The CAIR-Florida videographer at the rally shook her head no when asked if Hamas is a terrorist organization.

When asked which is better Hamas or Fatah, Badran says Hamas. He claimed that Israel supported Fatah because they were corrupt.

“I’ve been saying for years that Hamas is better than Fatah because there’s no corruption. Hamas takes care of the people,” says Joe Badran.
