How Do You Know That You Can Trust Someone?

How do you know that you can trust someone?

In this world, there is no trust, trust does not exist. Trust destroys humanity, it is what causes displeasure whether that be war or hate. Trust is something that does not allow for peace to exist, it is a curse that exists in the very bane of humans. Trust is what creates lies, if something is not true, well it is false but lies are created when that trust or truth is manipulated or misconstrued. Lies are what define humans, when there is no trust everything comes loose as hell, chaos is widespread everywhere. But when there is trust, there is a light, a light that shines so bright in a world full of darkness, trust is what brings humanity to the pinnacle of evolution, it is what allows for progress. Trust can be dangerous, as it can be played around with, especially since humans are good and evil. Before you can trust someone, you have to trust yourself, trust yourself enough so that you are able to trust others, you cannot expect trust back, since there is always a chance that when trusting someone can lead to that trust being lost. I personally believe trust is necessary to control a species who is so sporadically challenged. We humans are not perfect creatures, we have our emotions controlled by other humans around us, and science has some interesting studies that indicate that. If emotions are really controllable by external means, it really brings up the question of whether there is a soul or are thoughts and emotions just a bunch of chemical processes. As previously mentioned trust is something necessary to control humans, since if there was lies there would be chaos and no co-operation, we humans rely on each other and that is what I believe is trust, reliance. Knowing how to rely on others is complicated to describe, there are many factors that have to be taken into consideration before choosing to rely on somebody or something. When I want to trust someone, I do not want them to break it, so I have to make sure that there character is the same as mine or even better, they must also be able to trust themselves, or not contradict themselves, if they do so respect will be lost, which degrades character in my opinion, but then again it really depends. I hate myself when I have to think logically and deeply for something so pure such as trust, I want to believe that trust is something so pure, that it cannot be broken and if it does it should not. I wonder to myself how our world would be if there were no lies, only the truth and I try to envision it. It is not possible for me to envision how our world would be with no lies, that would be transcending my current intelligence but in an attempt to try and see, there would certainly be flaws in this type of world just like our own. But then again, I think to myself if there were no lies, there would be no need for trust, and I believe this statement is weak.  But I have learned that trusting is something that people abuse to often and they do not know that they are playing around with that trust.
