Nato’s Adamant Role and Future Credibility

An articulated view over NATO’s busy times at work on its vital interests.

What cause international de-stabilizations – becomes NATO’s foremost (due to international demand) core mission(s).  NATO remained visible in its own efforts and likely supported by EU through its participating of peace-keeping missions in:

  1. Bosnia;
  2. Afghanistan; and
  3. Darfur.

These factors remain obvious to these three (3) regions mentioned above.

  1. Recognition internationally – unrest and war ideologies are not popular;
  2. Political leadership – prowess and achievement are lacking within their local leaders;
  3. Natural resources – self sufficiency is not emphasized for its existence and subsistence; and
  4. Migrant resources – people know-how is missing within their international interests.

These could be the four (4) remarkable contributory elements to hard-headed militants within their respective regions.  What could be the possible solutions ear-marked by NATO by itself? These could be redundant but might work in NATO’s favor, namely:

  1. Infusion of more money to its locally recognized leaders;
  2. Construction and reconstruction within NGOs and civilian relief agencies; and
  3. Educated and organized information drive altering modes of improvement and cooperation efforts for progress.

All forms of defense counter revolutionary elements of these regions (counterinsurgency) provokes challenges to once military leadership.  The reaction would be more destructive because of upheaval and resistance.  To those who rely on war-tactics, peacekeeping is a long process that involves offensive attacks then defensive operands.  Destruction of properties and nature would prevail.  Their future is better off with a lot of constructive means from utilizing whatever resources is left unharmed.  Then, NATO’s organization to construct these regions would pave the way to combatting whatever conflicts are seen as prevailing.  Unification and peace talks deserves second chances to achieve NATO’s mission, role and future credibility, that’s very promising.
