This picture shows dad and you get a little glimpse of the child in the carrier. If you remember the dads with the gals in the yellow shirts, here is another dad that is working to get a jump on being a father at an early age. Biking isn’t the end. It is an activity, a means that can be used to bring a family together. Anything that pulls them together is good. Anything that separates is bad.

If you were worried about the young woman riding without a helmet, this picture shows him beginning to hand it to her. She had it on in a couple seconds. I believe he was adjusting the strap for her.

There is no better display of enthusiasm than this group. I am not sure where they were from, who they are, or how many of them were riding, my guess is about a dozen. All of them are not in this picture. They even had their own SAG following them. Every time I took a picture at least one of them was doing something interesting.

These next pictures are of riders who seemed to be riding together. Look at the determination of this young man.

I talked a lot about fantastic dads but there were some fantastic moms there too. One was the lady who was being passed a helmet earlier. Here is another. I have featured her here alone but she is with her family.

Somehow I believe this is a fantastic grandma and granddaughter. And I am pretty sure the previous picture is Mom.

You know, picking the headline picture for this set was very difficult because of people like this one. I think if I had shot 4 or 5 pictures one of them would have been a serious contender. There are several people like this in the ride and probably a lot more I missed.
