Agent X’s Conspiracy Theory 3: Do Aliens Really Exist?

That word means so much for the present century, but so little to the past. Life outside earths cozy shell . Fact or fiction seems to be the question these days, which is certainly an improvement because this means that we are at least considering a minute chance of actually proving their presence.

The idea of an alien was dismissed as fools talk by our greatest minds, for the simple reason that the conditions found on our planet are not common, in fact it may even be unique.

As much as I would like to believe that, i pose just one question that shatters that philosophy.

“Who says aliens need the same conditions to live?”

Even mathematically, aliens have a chance of existing, in fact , they have a extremely good chance of not only existing , but thriving better than us. Prove it you say? 

Simple probability.

Do you know how many planets there are in a solar system ? Do not try to answer that, as the number  is so variable that you have a better chance of being an alien ambassador than finding it out ( Ill come to that shortly).

For the pure purpose of mutual agreement , let us take an average of 10 planets per solar system. How do we find the number of solar systems?.Simply by counting the number of central stars and you find the total number in this galaxy. Now I ask you , my readers , how many stars do you see in the night sky? Well , being a literal and aware person my answer would be 2 , the north star and Sirius , the dog star because the rest are invisible due to air pollution but I am not gonna take that into consideration just yet. So I ask again ? how many stars do you see? right now you are probably scratching your head silently telling me to get on with the article, and so i shall.Let me say , a billion stars .That number is just from my hat as there are more than a million times that number , but the human brain can only understand the concept of quantity to a certain extent.

A billion stars in the night sky.Now , add the number we cannot see because of our atmosphere , and the number which are blocked by other planets , and the number of planets undergoing a night phase , and what do we get at the end of it? well, a number so large that it probably create a file size of a few Terabytes if we typed it in notepad.Yeah, that large.
