An American Monster?

Cryptids described as Hairy Apemen have been reported from all across the world, in Australia they have the Yowie, in Sumatra the Orang Pendek, there have even been accounts of what has become known as a British Bigfoot seen around the Cannock Chase and Sherwood Forest areas of the midlands, this man beast is often credited with having glowing red eyes,  the Man Monkey of the Shropshire Canal has been reported for over a hundred years but this particular mystery seems to have as much substance in ghost stories as it does in the world of cryptozoology, indeed in my humble opinion if the imagination is stretched in believing a large unknown homonid could survive in the vastness of the American wilds then it would be beyond credulity to believe one could survive relatively unseen in a tiny country like England for very long. Recently two films have appeared on the Internet of a Polish Bigfoot taken in the Tatras Mountains in the North of the country, one of the films appears to show an apelike creature spying on a young lady paddling in a river and the other a  cryptid scrambling over  rocks, whether these videos will prove to be hoaxes only time will tell , however initially they do look rather dubious.

Personally if i had to place a bet on which of these cryptids will eventually be truly discovered my money would be on the Almas or Bigfoot, recently remains were discovered in Indonesia of Homo Floresiensis a human species that was rather small in stature, hence their nickname of “Hobbits”, its been found that Floresiensis lived up until around 13000 years ago a blink of an eye in geographical terms and certainly co habited the Earth with modern humans so yes its possible that Neanderthal Man if that what the Almas is, could remain in some form on Earth today. As for Bigfoot the shear amount of evidence in terms of eyewitness reports, a couple of decent films and recordings suggest that theres something of substance awaiting discovery, its seems hard to believe innumerous of reportees can be lying or mistaken, i for one await with bated breath for a real tangible piece of evidence of his existence to come to light in the near future however if Bigfoot is found i hope we will leave him in peace.
